Recommendations - February 2018

1. Be a nuisance where it counts. Wise words from the woman the Parkland, FL, school is named after. She must be proud of those kids right now. I am.

2. Amazon prints for Prime members - Holy crap. Super fast shipping, impressive quality, and very cheap - like less than half of Shutterfly prices even with a 40% off code on that site. I'm impressed. Not so impressed with Amazon still advertising on Breitbart and streaming the NRA Channel. I’ve been hammering them via Twitter private message and called customer service and their legal department three times each. Don’t do this to me, Amazon. Respect what we have together and knock your shit off.

3. Using what you have - I've been cleaning out my freezers and pantry the past month or so and have made some toss up meals - let me toss this shit together and see what happens - and what's happened has been great. I hate food waste so it feels good to get things moving through the house.

Anything you care to recommend?

  1. Wow I had no idea Amazon did prints! That's good to know! I take tons of pics but I am so bad about printing them and displaying them, and I really want to get better at that. What's the point of having them if you don't see them?

  3. What doesn't Amazon do (besides make good decisions when it comes to the NRA, at least so far)? Those photos look waaaaay better than what I get at Walgreens.

  5. Boo on Amazon for their affiliated. Hopefully they get their shit together... I didn't know they offered prints but I'm hardly ever impressed with Shutterfly's pricing or quality =/

  7. I didn't know Amazon did prints! Going to check that out for sure because Shutterfly is NOT cheap, despite what they pretend to advertise to people. I need to use up a few things out of my freezer, mainly veggies. I am thinking dump soup!

  9. Those kids are absolutely living up to her words. I love each and every one of them (the kids. And the words).

My morals are wrestling with Amazon right now.

  12. I've been using what I've got in the clothing and bathroom/makeup/skincare departments with varied success, but that's always a good rec. Amazon Prints sounds awesome (minus their advertising), especially if it's decent quality! I shouldn't need it but I do because though I got a wireless printer for Christmas it hasn't worked in 2 years and I keep forgetting to ask Blue to fix it.

  13. How have I not heard of Amazon Prints?! I'm so frustrated with the horrible quality of prints from Snapfish, so am excited about this. And YES to being a nuisance where it counts <3

It’s like some big giant evil sick disgusting cult.

  15. I had no idea Amazon do prints - I hope they bring that over here when they roll out Amazon Prime (hopefully coming mid year?) because I can't be doing with going to an actual shop for prints. And online adds up pretty quickly. I've also been doing a freezer/pantry turnover, when we moved I was determined to not let things get clogged up again. So far, not bad, but I'm still finding the odd thing I'd forgotten about...

  17. I just placed an order with Shutterfly out of habit but need to try Amazon's service. I did a shared album with my mom and sister for our trip to New Orleans and it was super easy and Amazon already basically has all my life anyway so why not hand over my photos to them!

  18. I'm trying to use up food too...it's ridiculous how much thought it takes.

  19. I was telling my husband that I don't know if I should cheer companies because they are not supporting the NRA, or avoid them, because they used to support the NRA!! I'm going to end up living in a mountain, growing my own food!
