Easiest Shower Favor Ever

In case you missed it this weekend, my BFF Kim is having a baby. Another child for my aunt army! Her mom was nice enough to let me do the favors for the shower. If you know me, you know my middle name is Not Crafty. I am the opposite of DIY - I am BYI...buy it yourself.

I am a huge bar soap fan, and my current favorite are soaps from L.E.H. Soap Company down the shore. They do custom soaps, so I order them and some loofahs and voila. Instant shower favor. I figure everyone needs to be clean, right? At least they're useful.
Loofahs in eight packs from Amazon, bars of soap as above, bags/ribbon/plastic baby things (clothes pins and carriages) all from Le Dollar Store.

What are some shower favors you've loved?

Happy happy birthday to our BFF Evan today!

  1. Fantastic idea. I'm also amused by the fact that it's actually a SHOWER favor. What can I say... It's been a long summer. lol

  2. Heart shaped measuring spoons from my friend Nancy's daughter's bridal
Shower were my favorite and most useful favor. I kind of think favors are unnecessary! That's what makes the world go round. Different strokes for different folks!
    Love. Your. Momma.

  3. I am semi-crafty, but half the time what I want to make, I find at Michael's, or Target's Dollar Spot so...whatever, that works for me too! These are a great idea for a favor - I love the label.

  7. I'm definitely a BIY girl myself. I like the play on words with this shower favor! I also like how easy it was to put together! Win!

  8. Great idea :) I really love the custom soaps. I swear I've made so many prizes and goodie bags and favors over the years... I did bottle trophies for baby shower prizes once (a cheap dollar-store-bottle glued to a square wood base, spray painted gold, silver, and broze), I made the hotel welcome bags for my brother's wedding (Walmart/Target's dollar travel section was my bff), and I've done little prizes of cookie mix with a bow and spatula tied around it!

  10. That's such a cute idea! We're hosting a baby shower in October for a friend, and that would be a great favor idea!

  11. BIY all the way. Like semi-homemade, but with cute stuff, not that Sandra Lee brand of stuff. Time is PRECIOUS.
And cheers to useful stuff. We did personalized M&Ms at my bridal shower and our wedding because they're useful.

  12. These are super adorable and would be the best favors! I love this idea of just buying it instead of spending hours slaving away!

  13. The favors that I can actually use are always my favorite. Love this idea in particular because it's a company that you openly support, it's locally owned/managed (though I did just see that they have multiple locations so maybe not), and the play on words- I'm a sucker for solid word play!

  15. Definitely a cute gift for a baby shower with a fun cliche. :-) We had a baby shower with everyone wearing shower caps....it was quite hilarious!
