You don't have to buy me flowers, but you should buy someone flowers. If that's me, that's cool.

Most weeks you can find fresh flowers in our house. I like to keep them by the front door as a nice way to say hello when you walk in.

I typically grab them at Produce Junction and pride myself on securing fresh beauty for under $2-4 a week. However, some occasions call for an upgrade and a little more expenditure, like an anniversary or Mother's Day. I'm not in the business of shipping flowers either, so when I need to send flowers, I have to take to the internets. I've had middling luck with ordering flowers including some crappy experiences like my friend Kate - check out her PSA on flower deliveries here. I'm always in the market for a reliable floral service, so when The Bouqs contacted me to try their flowers for free, I said sure. The flowers were free, the opinions are my own.

I chose the Dawn bouquet, which has this description: Our Orange premium Roses are a magical sight when fully bloomed. Grown on a Volcano and cut-to-order, this flower bunch will blow them away like a breathtaking sunrise.  Our flowers are shipped straight from our eco-friendly, sustainable farms on the Volcano to your recipient's door, with Free Delivery!
Color: Orange
Please note that colors may vary slightly from photos
I thought the orange was perfect for fall and I got the deluxe, which would be $50 for 24 roses.

If you use any of The Bouqs links  in this post to purchase flowers, I get credit for it - just want to be clear about that!

While they are way too pricey for my weekly fresh flowers, I think they're a good value for a special occasion. I was happy with how they appear in person versus how they were shown when I ordered them. They arrived as scheduled and I'd trust their service to send flowers for an important day or no reason at all.
