Winter Goal Roll Call - How did I do?

Hausfrauing & Organization Things
1. Seasonal purge and reorganize, focusing on utility closet and photo albums Utility closet done the week after Christmas, photo album area done weekend of 2/15
2. Clean all baseboards (hated quarterly chore) Dunzo 2/2
3. Complete transition from plastic to glass food storage. Done. I kept a few larger plastic tupperware for salads since they aren't heated up.

4. Wash windows Done 3/9
5. Vacuum window treatments Done 2/2
6. Switch out some photos in frames Photos ordered 2/6, more on order now

Kitchen Things
1. Try five new recipes

2. Attempt french bread second time in a goddamn row I didn't do this
3. Eat at three new to me restaurants The Pub 1/25, Bellini Grill 2/8, Zahav 3/14
4. Cheesesteak Tour I ran out of weekends and the winter overall was too fucking cold. 

Entertainment Things
1. See two movies in the theater - The Wolf of Wall Street 12/27
2. Watch two new movies at home - Promised Land 12/27, We're the Millers 1/5
3. Catch up to Sons of Anarchy's current season I didn't do this because I don't want to run out of episodes and have to watch in real time. muah ha ha
4. Read five books. Well this was done. Since my initial post on December 17, I read 12 books:

  • Claire DeWitt and the City of the Dead by Sara Gran
  • When in Doubt, Add Butter by Beth Harbison
  • The Silent Wife by A.S.A. Harrison
Health & Beauty Things
1. Exercise three times a week. YES. I fucking did this. This is huge for me. I also did squats and pushups five days a week and walked the other days except when I was sick at the beginning of March.
2. Take vitamins daily. Fail.
3. Less sweets, more veggies...after Christmas cookies are gone, of course. I ate less sweets, but not enough less...I did eat more veggies. 
4. Go to bed earlier. I physically got in bed earlier but did not actually go to sleep earlier.

Money Things
1. Spending freeze in January with a link up on February 4. Results here.

  2. Way to go -- that storage area looks awesome! (Also, I am jealous. My house has no storage except a non-temp controlled attic. Argh...) Nice work on switching to glass food storage. I'm mostly there, but I guess now I should switch out my water bottle, since they're saying bpa-free plastics are just as bad. Oh my beloved camelbak bottle... I'll miss it so. Apparently I drink water best out of an adult sippy cup.

  4. When you do your cheesestake tour go up to Medrod for a Riveria pepperoni cheesesteak. AMAZING!!!

  5. I try to go to bed earlier too but can't seem to fall asleep any earlier either! Nobody will ever say you aren't productive!

  6. Wow. Gold star for you. Better than me... I was too lazy to even set goals!! I should vacuum my fans and dust them though...

  11. Where did you buy your glass food storage? I've seen those water bottles at Target and need to own them, but you've got me curious on other containers. I'm reorganizing our closet this week - you'd be proud.

  12. I was just thinking that the first day of spring is at the end of the week. I need to check my goals and make sure I squeeze in as many as possible if they arent done!!! Cheating for the win!
