Insufferable Tuesdays

Source
That sums up my feelings about Tuesdays.
I was born on a Tuesday. Cruel fate.

Ten days until my birthday.

This year my big day is on a Friday. This calls for a parade, right?

Since MFD is an invalid, I'm burning up the internets spending the cash I had set aside for my big dinner out and other birthday activities
(like skydiving, which is totally out of the question now).
This year's birthday will be brought to you by packages.
And dinner on TV trays watching a Redbox movie, which is totally fine with me.
As long as we're together, it'll be a good day.
We'll go out to dinner when both of us can walk.

Four days until daylight savings. BRING ME THE LIGHT, LONGER.

15 days until the end of winter.
Winter, BEAT IT. I'm through with you.
I think it's time for me to get my self tanning things out.
I am sick of dry hands, dry face, pale skin, socks and shoes, coats,
elbows so dry they're cracking, closed windows, all of it.

Forgive anything nonsensical.
My dog was up all night milking a broken off toenail. No lie.
He's too much like a human.

Linking this lame post up with Just Because.

  1. It's like a second Monday. The work week should be: Monday, Monday, Wednesday, Little Friday, Friday.
At lease we are one day closer to Friday!

  8. I was born on a Tuesday too. You'd think I'd like them more, but no.
Your pup just wants attention, you're clearly giving the invalid too much!!

  9. I was born on a Tuesday, too. See the old poem below. Friday & Sunday r the BOMB days.

Mondays child is fair of face,
Tuesdays child is full of grace,
Wednesdays child is full of woe,
Thursdays child has far to go,
Fridays child is loving and giving,
Saturdays child works hard for his living,
And the child that is born on the Sabbath day
Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay.
We must all use our energies to send this LAST bastard snow/wintry mix storm that is to hit tomorrow morning- FAR OUT TO SEA. The NJ shore does not need it, neither do we. #BEGONEWINTERWEATHER
    Love your momma

  10. Tuesdays and Thursdays are the WORST days. Hate them.

At least your birthday is a Friday. The only way that could be better would be if it was on a Saturday.

  13. I'm glad you're still enjoying your birthday month. Honestly, your change of plans sound right up my alley! I can't wait for daylight savings too, except that my kids will be a mess with the time change. I love light nights! But they make me feel bad for not being more productive. Ok, so maybe I don't like it. But I am over winter!
